Located in Jefferson City, MO, we are committed to connecting people with God’s love, forgiveness, and healing through prayer, sound Bible teaching and the Full Gospel.

We seek to love God, love one another, and serve the Jefferson City community. Our worship service, Bible Studies, and community outreaches build relationships with those longing to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A Welcoming House Of Worship

House of Prayer Family Church has been serving Jefferson City, Missouri since 1995 as a place of worship dedicated to building, equipping, and leading people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

Pastor Kirk & Angela DeMars began serving at House of Prayer in January of 2022.

Built on the foundation of Matthew 21:13 when Jesus said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer," we seek the Lord's direction through His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Following the directive in Scripture, we use the example Jesus gave us in Matthew 22:36-40 when He said, 37 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

The joy we have in gathering with one another each week is living out what Jesus meant by "Loving God" and "Loving others as He's loved us!"
